Educated at San Diego State College, with BS in Physics. Graduated in 1958. Member of Honorary Music Fraternity. Started as music major, active in the marching band and orchestra, as well as small chamber music groups on campus. Played the
clarinet, alto saxophone and bass clarinet. Played in dance bands during high school and the first years of college. Graduate courses in control theory and feedback systems.

Attended the Stanford Executive Program in 1968.

First employee of Dana Labatories, founded in San Diego California. Became engineering manager, and was the princicpal designer of the Digital Voltmeter product line, until assignment as president to EIP (Electromagnetic Information
Processing).

President of EIP Incorporated from Dec 1971 until March, 1976. Company was in bankruptcy, in 1971, with sales of less than one million dollars. In 1976 sales were approaching 5 million and the company was the most profitable divisions in
Danalab.

Division manager for the Time and Frequency divison of John Fluke manufacturing from March 1976 until October 1978.

Joined Teradyne Inc. in January 1979 as Engineering manager for the Memroy product line. Was made the division Quality Manager in 1987.

Group TQM manager in January 1994. Joined the Memory Marketing group in July of 1995. Traveled extensively to Asia (Korea and Taiwan).

Many hobbies - Stamp Collecting (Norway and early Sweden), Amateur Radio, Model Trains(HO), Gardening, Computers.
